Abstract

Microteaching has become an established method of providing opportunities for pre-service teachers to "practice teach" prior to student teaching. Student podcasting, defined as the creation of audio or video files in a format easily downloaded to computers or mp3 players offers promise as a time efficient alternative to microteaching. This paper details the process of implementing podcasting as a microteaching learning tool in a University mathematics course
