Abstract

At the faculty of Education, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, students were imposed to share their teaching and learning experiences by participating in a localized computer mediated communication (CMC) system. They discussed and reflects on five aspects of teaching and learning process. Analytical scrutiny on the studies related to teacher's thinking shows the significant role played by reflection data in revealing their cognitive and meta-cognitive skills. The aim of minimalist approach employed was to exploit people's natural sense of making propensities as well as producing highly user centered learning environment. Based on qualitative data, ssuggestions will be made on the most suitable method of diffusing technology in education which not merely flexible in nature but at the same time nurtured the students thinking capacities.
