Abstract

With the technological advancements movements of ideas, technologies and products across borders influence both local and ‘global’ ideas and practices. Recent scholarships on globalization propose more complex models of interconnectedness and unevenness and not homogenization as the meaning of globalization. Authors will discuss how curriculum should be designed to provide opportunities for developing students’ contextualized multiple intelligence (CMI) and triplization (globalization + localization + individualization) ability for lifelong self-learning. This paper explores issues regarding designing, developing and implementing learning environments that are sensitive and appropriate to regional conventions, data in a variety of world languages, and alternate format. Creating global classes in partnership with local experts could be a solution. In this paper authors will argue do we really need to changes our practices with technological advancements or should we allow time and space for thinking and critical reflection before adopting any new tools and technologies.
