Abstract

Abstract: The use of mobile devices and online social networking applications have become a part of our everyday lives. Our students are digital natives who have embraced the use of these devices and tools, while educators have been slow to integrate these technologies into course curriculum. The mobile device used in the course created images, videos and audio clips that were used in Smartboard lessons, Glogs and microblogs. These technology products were created in a summer 2009 course taught over a three week period. Data was collected and reported on process, product, and learning among the 18 students.
