Abstract
Increasingly digitalization is affording us new ways of providing not only education, but supporting health and fostering an overall literacy that encompasses both health and digital media - digital health literacy. Our multi-disciplinary consortium, APEX (Awareness, prevention and early intervention), focuses on digital mental health literacy and its promotion among children and young people, their families as well as social and school environments. Schools and school communities are seen as instrumental components of the digital mental health literacy pursuit, particularly as vehicles through which students are introduced to a range of alternative services and environments in the digital realm. This poster presents our ongoing study regarding the design and evaluation of digital environments that promote students’ mental health including digital mental health literacy - ability to seek, evaluate, interpret and apply knowledge from digital environments.
