Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the current use of social media among undergraduate students who are representative of Generation Y. During Spring 2015 semester, a study was conducted to determine the use of social media formats among Generation Y undergraduate students in a college of education. A group of 196 undergraduate students were surveyed to identify which of the popular social media sites they are currently using. In addition, students were surveyed to identify their primary use of each social media format.
