Abstract

This paper is a report of a newly-initiated project designed to connect preservice teachers, cooperating teachers, student teachers, and higher education faculty through the use of a world-wide-web site. Goals of the project were to enhance the teacher preparation program and curriculum, to provide professional development for P-12 faculty and mentoring support for novice P-12 faculty, to provide professional development opportunities for higher education faculty, to provide educational resources for web-users outside of the cyberspace community that was developed in the project and to form the basis for continual teacher education program input and assessment.
