Abstract

Abstract: In this paper, I discuss how certain, already existing and available information and communication technologies and infrastructures may be used to provide better education, information and knowledge resources to a sizeable percentage of the two billion children in the developing world. I consider how this may also help fill any gaps in the knowledge of teachers in the developed world. I also consider the use of some ingenious, affordable and effective technologies particular to the developing world in improving education.
